Why is greenland not green ???? Get there and find out yourself.... It is actualy green in many places. The vikings found the place 1000 years ago, maby it was warmer there then :)
Oh yeah. about that, when the vikings tryed to sail across the artic they had heared about a beautiful grassy green place. But, when they got there they realized "hey this looks just like norway. oh well we'll call it Grunlund.
Where were you flying to/from? It seems so rare for me to ever be on a flight that flies over Greenland, but I usually fly DFW-London on my transatlantic flights.
Every time I go to the states they always fly over Greenland and Canada.

I flew over greenland on my way to germany it looked pretty similar. I really want to actully visit it though. Maybe Ill get there in the future.
