I notice that you mention your tomato doesn't set fruit, I also have an Aquaponic system in my backyard, what i did was that i would plant Banana peel in my grow bed. what would happen is that, the potassium in the banana will stimulate the tomato to grow, well at least i think they do. cause i did it before and the tomato was able to produce a lot of fruits. so worth a try. :)
