@Amaze813 I know as does my own car. I don't get the sr swap fad personally. Costs just as much to build your ka24, and you end up with a used engine with an unknown maintenance history, and as far as a daily that most 240s are, nowhere near as punchy down low or in the midrange.

The older vqs are coming down in price, and its lighter than the ka, and if I'm not much mistaken ever so slightly lighter than the sr20. LS swaps are pretty sweet but at this stage its a bit pricey and finnicky. And I mean relative to the vq swap, which is surprisingly easy. I mean it isn't a bolt on swap like the sr but wiring, and all appropriate mods, I'm at sub 6 grand complete swap, and thats if I get an expensive vq.

The VQ35DE is in similar dress up 14lbs lighter than the sr20 73lbs lighter than my ka, and I know the ls1 is around 100lbs heavier than the vq.

I recommended once to a Ford dealer that they should take all of the Mustangs that drive out from the assembly line at the factory and drive them into a crusher right there just outside the factory. Those mustangs especially used to be complete JUNKERS in the years leading up to 2003 or 2005. Muscle cars are heavy pieces of garbage. You can also use them to plow through American houses with them, too.

@bboy4050 You forgot another thing those muscle cars are useful for. I recommended once to a Ford dealer that they should take all of the Mustangs that drive out from the assembly line at the factory and drive them into a crusher right there just outside the factory. Those mustangs especially used to be complete JUNKERS in the years leading up to 2003 or 2005. Muscle cars are heavy pieces of garbage. You can also use them to plow through American houses with them, too.

@a96bimmerm3 I don't know about that man. Sounds to me like this thing is running a clutch-less manual trans... possibly a Victory 5-spd type tranny... I hear a lot of quick shifts, so its def not a Chevy Automatic (2-4 forward gears max)
I get why you'd think that, though, cause a lot of the import guys are running Chevy autos (TH400's, powerglides, etc) now with much success :]

Iv kept up with a stock supra on twisty roads with my 101hp scrap car, and the rear wheels do exactly what they are suppose to if you know whats happening in the car, hold the back end inline, or possebly be sliding a wee bit through a corner.
