There's a lot of ST players that fight over who's the best with a particular character, but Muteki is a man who NO ONE can dispute is the BEST with Guile.
Here's a bunch of people that clearly don't understand this matchup, or possibly street fighter in general.
You can't just approach Zangief. It doesn't end well. Maybe you guys forgot that he has an unblockable reversal attack? Nevermind the fact that this is basically how Guile likes to play MOST matchups.
It has nothing to do with being afraid. This is just how you play the matchup. Guile tries to keep away and Zangief tries to fight his way in.
PLEASE move forwards sometimes, grow some balls and take a few risks. Sure you might lose some more health, but anything is better than SONIC BOOM, SONIC BOOM, SONIC BOOM, SONIC BOOM.
Muteguile is one of the best Guile players n the world. He knows what he's doing. Besides getting to close to 'gief is asking for to get SPD'd and 4 of those is lights out. Playing keep away is your best bet.
also, gief has big trouble getting around sonic boom in particular. Normally, he can lariat threw a fireball and hit the opponent, but guile has half of the recovery of normal fireballs, so he can walk up and do a low forward (\/mk) before he recovers. It also stuffs banishing fist for free. Best geif can do is dodge the sonic booms, get a jump in that wasn't baited, and tick throw spd. I'd say Guile is one of geif's worst match ups, because its really hard for him to get in without getting hit.
I thought so machine gun jabs all other versions the normal moves come out to slow and trust me i have all other versions dreamcast ps2 i really hope capcom classics 2 super T is perfect then i could stop crying myself to sleep lol
I haven't known so up to now. "Super Turbo" was sold with 3DO,SegaSaturn, PS, and Dreamcast in Japan. but not with PS2. It is said that the perfection of Dreamcast is higher than that of other versions in Japan. However, the emu....is the best.

Wow, that Guile is scared shitless of 'Gief.

cps1 all the way baby, better versions of the music, and a better mix.
