How exactly do you plan on setting the chips?

When you install your system, it says cartridges cannot be recognized - Without a physical device to reset those chips, YOUR SYSTEM WILL NOT WORK!

@sugarpuddin88 The chips are 'auto-reset', so when your ink levels are at zero percent (or any and all colors) you would have to take out all the cartridges and put them back in. why take the red caps off and replace them with white caps ?

the white cap serves as an air filter so that air can freely flow from the cartridges and the tubes

I have a Ciss for my Epson rx580. My yellow ink won't come out and hasn't for months now. Any clues/videos on how to fix it? I have tried removing air and cleaning over and over and over, yet w/o success. Thanks for any tips!

you are on your third printer because u did not maintain your printer by printing purge patterns every week so the print head got clogged

Every time you turn on the unit it uses i little ink so this good to have the ciss system

I had great worries about buying this but I just installed it and printed out a ton of DVD covers and they look great. Perfect colors, no smearing. Worked right off the bat.

I did get a bunch of ink on my hands while getting it setup that hopefully will wash off some day. And the removing of the cartridge cover was not as easy on my R380. Different cover and latch than in this video.

I'll let you know how it holds up over time.

I'd like to know the same thing! The auto-reset chip doesn't auto reset. :-(

when the ink runs out there will be a red color message telling u to replace to cartridge. DO NOT take the cartridge out immediately. Instead press ok to proceed. Then replace the cartridge and then press proceed for the printer to charge the ink. So its press ok, replace then press ok. DO not replace, then press ok press ok.
