  • I can see the day coming soon, when half the population is sick and dying...and they STILL won't get it!

  • We also can generally agree that it makes sense to avoid things that have a good chance of causing harm including cancer. If all of these things are true, we have to come to the conclusion that we should avoid ingesting pesticides whenever possible and that we should do more testing on all chemicals to see what the long-term effects are on animals (not just looking at toxic exposure levels). Ok - that's my argument. You can disagree, but not because of faulty logic or lack of facts.

  • We can assume based on past history that some "approved" pesticides will eventually be taken off the list because they are more dangerous than originally thought and may actually cause harm to humans. We can also assume that we will not know if that or those pesticides are being used on our food right now. continued...

  • This video ROCKS! Thanks for taking the time to make it! Hopefully, at least one person will have a revelation while viewing it.

SURVIVE THE ECONOMIC COL:LAPSE & PROSPER TOO !

    EAT SAFE FOOD !

  • I think you all have a great misconception of GMO's...organic does not mean they are not GMO, it just means they were grown without pesticides (GMO's are usually organic because they repel pathogens without the use of pesticides). Pretty much everything you consume in america (plant and animal) are GMO to some extent. They can be beneficial in some ways, they just need to be monitored better by the FDA and labeled on foods...do some research people.

  • Number of adverse events due to Genetically Modified/Engineered "Frankenfood" is exactly 0 [zero]. Show me evidence otherwise.

  • This was AWESOME!!! I am SO going to look and see what GMO's are and find out what I'm ingesting!! Great vid! Great story, funny and makes you really think!!!

  • Great Job - I love the video! Keep up the great work! i can't wait to see the next one.

  • Funny and true !!!

  • Great work! I think you've chosen a perfect way to get the message out to ppl who wouldn't otherwise look into the GMO issue.

  • That will be next in their continuing effort to change the food DNA.

    Food that eats.

  • This from a friend in Italy: "Wow! I never wuda thought....human test rats! They are crazy! Thanks so much for the info! U r precious to me, so be careful about those foods sister! Luv u!"

  • awesome!

  • Great video! Consumers need to insist on GMO-free food.

  • This is great! Now, finally people might wake up!

  • It is so important! the people of the US and Canada need to wake up!

Europe is livid about this invasion and adulteration of the food supply... and the US sits!? Avoid GMOs, Buy organic, grow organic, and propagate and save organic seeds! Thank you for doing such a fun video...now finally people may wake up!

  • @MaryEllen45 ...Grow organic?Where? In infested soil and toxic atmosphere? We can not win...We are few...We fight just to satisfy our ego and our consciousness !!!My opinion... today!!! ... tomorrow may be another!!!

  • There is organic soil available now.

tomorrow it may not be, you are right, but yes, it is available today...find true organic seeds, you still can and grow them even urban gardens/wall gardens are good.

propagate, store, save and share organic seeds!

  • This is a pretty bleak view on the subject. If everyone felt this way then we would have no chance. You can get soil that is not infested, you can even make compost that you could grow organic seeds in and create something way better for you to consume than GMO foods. Americans are consuming more and more organic food as more people are becoming aware. It won't be easy, but we can win.

  • My previous comment was directed @apraxeco1 , not the video.

  • I wrote ,,...My opinion... today!!! ... tomorrow may be another!!!...´´...and now is different ... you're right!!!

  • @MaryEllen45 you wake up. theres no difference between organic foods and regular foods/GMO foods, except organics are higher priced, with no added health benefits, and the organic foods have a lower yield.

  • @cole3454657 Do your research, dude! You have NO clue what you're talking about!

  • @pattygoody dude! i know exactly what im talking about, and just because you say i didnt, dosent mean i didnt do my reseach, which i did, lots of it, the effect of pesticide residues is negligible.

  • @cole3454657 There is a problem with our food and us being guinea pigs. Open your eyes and see the problem. The effect of pesticide residues is negligible? Wow! Well, I suggest you keep on eating your pesticides and all the other crap in your food...I'll eat organic, thank you very much...yeah, there IS a difference!

  • @pattygoody what problem? that we are currently feeding people which we previously werent? you dont know dick all about gmo and non organic foods, and your just getting your "facts" from greenpeace hysteria, i will keep eating my ammonium phosphate because it has no effect on humans in the doses it is in the food. keep paying twice as much for a placebo effect.

  • @cole3454657 *yawn*

  • @pattygoody in other words, you accept that GMO foods is the way to a superior world state, and you admit that i am 100 percent correct.

  • @cole3454657 Where did I set my cup of Round Up down? Yummy!!!

  • @cole3454657 I think you should look at long-term cancer rates. They have been consistently rising over the past 80 years. This is even if you take out the advances in cancer discovery. What is doing it? If it is not our foods and environment then what else could be causing it?

  • @embarkconsulting well. correlation is not causation, just because something immediately preceeds something, dosent mean it caused it, and you could say, because the world is exponentially globalized over the last few decades, and cancer rates rose, so, by your logic, globalization causes cancer, and fertilizer just dosent ionize cells, its just a fact of life, it dosent have high energy particles, and wont knock neutrons from around a cell, so, it wont cause cancer, try facts next time.

  • @cole3454657 you have a wierd way of responding. I am using facts - cancer rates have risen substantially in the past 80 years. This correlates to something! What is the cause - that is what I am asking. Does it make sense that I rise in chemicals in our food supply, air and water might be that cause? Of course it makes sense! Is it possible that a rise in the amount of roundup on our food over the next 15-20 years will cause more cancer? Of course it is possible. Don't be naive...

  • @embarkconsulting im answering with logic, for all i know you could have just pulled those cancer rates right out of your ass, not saying you did, like i said, pollution like sulphates and phosphates and co2, arent ionizing radiation, their not gonna give you cancer, it was said that you have a thousand times more risk of cancer in a cup of coffee, than a years worth of pesticide and pollution residues. and what im saying, is theres alot of things rising with cancer and im certain none cause it

  • @cole3454657 I understand your point in that we don't know everything, but your point about coffee doesn't make sense. The usage of coffee hasn't risen in the past 80 years whereas the amount of cancer has. As far as you being sure that cancer isn't caused by pollution, you should look at the list of carcinogens - there are thousands of them - many have only been discovered as carcinogens in the last 15 yrs. Many are still in use in industry and many more will be added in the next 15 yrs.

  • @cole3454657 Also there are currently over 100 know carcinogens on the list of EPA approved pesticides. This is a fact. If you want to check that out, go to the EPAs website. Your siplified view of phosphates and sulphates being all that are sprayed onto food is not even close to the reality. Take a look at the ingredients of a common pesticide or herbicide - not just phosphates and sulphates.

  • @embarkconsulting kid, i was talking about fertilizer, and i apologize those are nitrates and phosphates, but, those over 100 carcinogens are in such small quantities, they have a negligible effect. and you only live in the world of a conspiracy theory where the government is always out to poison and kill you. when that may be true in other places, its not here, if pesticides were truly harmful the government would never ever allow it for consumer use.

  • @cole3454657 I never said anything about fertilizer. I started by saying that increasing chemical compounds in our food is not a good thing. You disagreed... Now you say that the government is there to protect us and they would never let something on the market if it could harm us. Wow - that is totally not based on truth, facts, logic or anything else besides your feelings. There are hundreds of stories of the government allowing something on the market with known risks.

  • @embarkconsulting its not based on feelings, it based on logic, in a democracy, if the government released something in the food supply which harmed humans they would be voted out. im just saying this isnt communist china or iraq where they would purposely strike their own people. the epa and fda approve these because they know these carcinogens are in trace amounts and wont harm you in the concentration present.

  • @cole3454657 - I am not saying it is necessarily intentional. I am saying that they have been wrong in the past and they have ignored science that shows something is harmful for months or even years before acting.

There also is the whole situation of cronyism. Many people from the EPA and FDA (after leaving) end up serving on boards and receiving large paychecks from pharmaceutical and chemical companies. It isn't communism - its all about money! Take a look - it is all out there.

  • @embarkconsulting they have been wrong before, and they correct it, but they dont correct pesticides because their not harming us. and the cancer rise has been going up and up consistently right? well, when they banned DDT, it had no effect on the cancer rate, so, what was the cause again?

  • @cole3454657 This study suggests 71% of conventional foods still carry environmentally persistent chlorinated organic insecticides, such as DDT. consumersunion"dot"org/food/organicsumm.htm So, even though DDT has been banned, DDT still persists in the environment and people still consume DDT on a regular basis.

  • @myndy86 They cannot SPRAY crops with DDT... they can genetically alter foods to produce DDT (and other similar and VERY harmful chemicals) on their own.

  • @djtrunksta I never said they spray foods with DDT(anymore). I said"This study suggests 71% of conventional foods still carry environmentally persistent chlorinated organic insecticides, such as DDT. consumersunion"dot"org/food/organicsumm.htm So, even though DDT has been banned, DDT still persists in the environment and people still consume DDT on a regular basis." Not that DDT is still beng sprayed agriculturally(for the most part) but that it still persists in the environment.

  • ... Many of these compounds are pulled after years even though scientists had been telling the EPA or FDA of the risks and they were simply ignored. If you want some examples, I can list a few right off the top of my head : pesticides - Carbofuran, DDT, Daminozide, drugs- Avandia, Baycol, seldane. These are only a few items that our government failed to protect us from even though the risks were clear as day to scientists not employed by the manufacturer.

  • @embarkconsulting if your not bullshtting i suppose your right on that part, but fortunately those carcinogens are in such trace amounts they dont hurt you at all, and your literally having a 1000x more risk of cancer from your cup of coffee than a years worth of pesticides according to some sources.

  • @cole3454657 Ok - let me sum up my thoughts one more time and then I will move on - Something is causing a rise in cancer. We don't know for sure what it is but we know that it is rising. There are over 100 known carcinogens on the EPA list of approved pesticides. Somtime pesticides that are approved shouldn't be. We know this because the government has recalled many that were originally thought of as "safe". continued...

  • @MaryEllen45: Just browse the comments on any "food" article on Yahoo news. 99% of the posters don't have a clue about the toxic food.
