What about Toni Kroos ?... Without his crosses and passing Germany's midfield is nothing. He's proven to be a better partner with Schweinsteiger than Khedira.
kroos is more offensive than khedira.for bayern munich he plays in central offensive midfield which is his best position .khedira plays with schweinsteiger defensive where he is better than kroos.
If Germany doesn't win with a team stacked with talent like this one, they'll never win. They're strong at every position. There's almost too much talent at midfield. With Hummels, Howëdes and Lahm, they're finally strong at the back. The only weakness is at right back. It's up to Boateng to prove he can dominant at the position.
I dislike the fact that in Bayern Boateng is now a centreback and doesn't want to be rightback, it is bad for Germany. Also the fact that Howedes always ends up playing as a rightback is disturbing.
Trasch was good against Brazil, Beck won't get a chance
I personally am in favour of putting Lahm at rightback, he works well with Ozil and Muller. Leftback can be Aogo, I like Jansen too, but won't get a chance. Schmelzer seems very average.
I agree that new generation has talent and everything else, I actually think that while coach is Joachim Low germany will win, but also...hm... I will miss players like M.Ballack, and personally i think he could help a lot to this team in Euro 2012. But this is only my opinion. GERMANY FTW
@TotalWar365 If they use everyone properly then anything is possible. My biggest fear is that there might be too much talent and that decision of who plays and who doesn't could change everything.
