I like this song a lot, but after looking at the lyrics in this video, i found the 3rd line of the 2nd stanza incoherent and weird. almost spoiling the feel of this song? Why suddenly talk about "not afraid"? I have always thought she sang 若能让你笑做湖畔 你眼睛将是我梦里最美的星. comparing the smile to a lakeside and the eyes the stars.

The clip also shows a couple who splits up after a misunderstanding. The woman has become a famous singer, and is about to leave the country for good. The boyfriend wants to see her but is afraid to meet her due to the presence of many reporters. In the last scene, it shows a very typical melodramatic scene where both turn at different times after an argument, only to find the other still turned away, hence deepening the misunderstanding.

Sorry...I do not have this song. I do not keep much of the songs from the 90s. This one should be from 1991. I saw the Lee Bros album released on 瑞华唱片SuWah Records back in the late 80s and early 90s. This record company has moved out of Singapore. Finding it might be difficult now.

Hello. I forgot that recent release of Xinyao songs including TV songs was featured in a series of 5 CD Box Set. The first two volumes have been released and you will be glad to know that the song 只有你這樣一個朋友 - 李偉菘＋李思菘 can be found in there. The price of the box set is approx $55 thereabout depending on where you buy it. Hope this helps.

The price has dropped since it first appeared in cd store. I might have under quote the price. The CD shop in Pearl Centre Millenium Music (formerly Visma) sell CD at competitive price. Have a look there.
