I don't think it was released in the US, but I'm pretty sure you can play origional PS games on PS2 systems, so you would just need the origional PlayStation game on your PlayStation 2.

...Careful. US Playstation 2's will play US Playstation 1 games ONLY and Japanese Playstation 2's will play Japanese Playstation 1 games only. Save your money - this game sucks. The Super Famicom (SNES) side-scrollers are much more fun.

I think my cousin had this game and let me play it several times. She's a harcore Anime fan like me so every game she has is in Japanese dub and subtitles.

I remember when this came out, alot of people didn't know who Sailor Saturn, Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, or Chibi Moon (Rini) were until the next season came out on TV. XD

I still have this game and the pain it took me to try and swap out discs back and forth was well worth it. The graphics of course at the time were jaw dropping but the most satisfying part was just even getting the game to play on the PS.

Japan and America both use NTSC TV's so you'll get a good picture, however unless the text is in English, it will be in Japanese.

It is not playable on a american PS because it is japanese. But their is a way to play it with a Maud-Chip it is a thing that allows you to play burnt cd's and cd's from other countries. It is illegal though.

No. There are currentily no plans to release anymore Sailor Moon games since Sailor Stars and that was over 10 years ago!

Doubt you should. The show will have to be completily re-made as the original show had an all Japanese cast in and out of Sailor Soldioer costumes and the villians as well. It would have to be a totally different project, and I think Naoko Takuchi, would rather leave the Sailor Moon projects to be made in Japan only!

Umm, no. There is an unofficial, fan-translated Rom out there of Another Story that was not developed by the game's creators. The only official non-Japanese Sailor Moon games I know of are the arcade game (released in Europe, in English) and the Super NES game (released in France, in French).

Well it wasen't released in the United Kngdom, so tat part of Europe is out of the question. You can count out Ireland too s I doubt it was releaed there. In fact I don't think we ever had a SNES game in English, as Sailor Moon had no offical Engish Licence in Europe!

Well, there is a rom of the arcade game floating around (usable on MAME) that has a "For Europe Only" warning in the opening and the game is in English - I've played it. Also, the SNES game was officially available in French, not English (that's why I said "non-Japanese") - again, I own it and have played it. Other than that, gotta import from Japan (or emulate) to play anything Sailor Moon. Thanks for the info.

Sadly, the opening and in-game FMVs are the best parts of the entire game. I own the Saturn version, but it and the PSX versions are essentially identical. As mentioned, it's a 2D fighter, but the controls are very stiff and unresponsive as well as the characters looking very plastic due to being 3D rendered sprites. The 3DO game is the best out of all the 2D fighting games they made out of this franchise. The controls are a bit better and use actual sprites that look like the show.

It was a game only for Japan, so if you want it I suggest looking on E-bay or something under Import items. Also, All of the characters are in Japanese as well, so you might not be able to read anything...unless of course you can read Japanese.

Stars has too much to censor... they have to deal with Haruka and Michiru already then the Starlights.. and there ain't no way around that issue.. lol THEN you have, just as a topping, the nude final battle.
