Your staffy is showing signs of what we used to call the "Buddy Dance" with our ol' Buddy. Where he would galumph up and down in place (back paws, front paws, back paws, front paws!). You could probably teach Valli to do a "Valli Dance" of the same type. It's super funny when they bounce up and down like that...
