If you like PBS program, you should pay for them, through donations or commercial ... take the example of FOX and all the libertarians publications, people love them and they are good ... do we need to finance them by tax ?

PBS does have some value with it's educational programs, but both it an NPR have a leftist political agenda. Tax money should not go to fund those.

@rebirthatthefountain Last time I checked, I pointed out that FOX was "for profit". PBS isn't "public" i.e. government-run either.  It's a non-profit corporation. However the issue is that they take tax dollars and then offer a one-sided political view, passed off as "enlightened" television. I'm sure that since you probably agree with that view, you don't see a problem.

However their news and editorials are about as one-sided leftist as they can get. If they are going to be taxpayer-funded, they should at least attempt to be politically neutral.
