Because most Christians don't go to church anymore, it is no good baptising your children if you don't teach them christianity. most people no very little about it, ask your children, friends and neighbours several questions about it they probably won't have a clue, it is ashame.

@pissaofu - It is grievous that many people who profess to be Christians do not immerse themselves in the teachings of the Bible. The mention of baptism you spoke of goes hand in hand with what baptism points to. We as the church are "washed by the water of the Word", and it is by the grace and power of our Lord Jesus Christ that we are changed into His image. Oh the depths and riches! Baptism is much more than many make it out to be, and not exactly what some claim.

The organ playing is lovely and the structure is lovely, so why do I feel sad viewing this? Maybe because the Church is people, and we see no one here...not even the gifted organist.
