I somewhat disagree being a black woman and I have been to several churches and have not seen that. People have this idea what they consider as cute or ugly. What I may see as cute, someone may not see as cute. I don't know if that is just in your area or what. I also think it depends on your level of your spiritual life. Some people just have to grow more. I have a lot but I will be messages you on facebook. I really haven't seen a lot of this in the churches!

I like light-skinned guys of moderate height but I truthfully have only invited females or tall, dark guys to the church. But that's mostly because I usually try to influence ppl to go to a church and to read the bible. I rarely invite ppl to my church because my church is always about 45 min. out of everyone's way. I used to DEFINITELY bring the fine dudes to church and not the busted ones! That's when I was attending church, but not living for Christ. Now, I try not to bring any dudes cuz when dudes aren't in Christ, they're usually sketchy and lookin at me up and down the whole time anyway. LOL...I was guilty of "playing favorites". I was more concerned with my agenda of getting married than sharing the Gospel and building up my brothers in Christ. God showed me that I was guilty of looking at men as objects rather than individuals that are created in God's image, in need of a Savior. Men aren't toys.When I stopped looking at men as "marriage material", I was free to witness to ALL men, regardless of how their looks, socio-economic status, education, or occupation.

When you really think about it, it is actually discrimnation and i can't remember where exactly in the Bible but it does say something about us not playing favourtism especially because God Himself doesn't go by it. The gift of Christ should be shared with everyone. Its in a way like spiritual "racism".
