Definitely not a mitro car ~ almost sounds like the old gas cars from the 60's but I'll go so far as to say it's probbly alcohol. Check the guy's Enderle injectors ~~ talk about roping down a blower!

The guy in the black t shirt is helping the driver back up. You can't turn your head and look behind you. I have a 96"WB Blown BBC. It takes BIG BALLS to drive one of these. I was at The Last Drag Race at Carlsbad Calif. 8-8-2004. I spun the car hit two gardrails and they gave me a trophy. 3/4 of my runs are aborted because the car goes sideways. The crowd always come to the fence when it's my turn? I have RESPECT for these guys. Even if they shut down!

Definitly an alcohol car. If you look in the other lane, you will see an alcohol car. not as loud as a nitro car either. Still a cool vid in any way.

This isn't an Alchohol car. Watch the burnout, there's a flame that comes out of the number 3 cylinder. This is a NitroMethane car. This car hits too hard to be Alcohol.

This isnt a Nitromethane car Bigbubba... This is clearly an Alcohol altered. They dont rev Nitro cars at the starting line like this, or launch test them either. Get your facts straight guy.

Mmmmmmmm, not sure about that, he leaves the line at idle just like a Nitro car, what he does before the run is up to him although I agree its not normal to do dry hops before the start line.

Alky cars usually need alot of rpm off the line and this car clearly does not do that.

Not all alky cars "need" alot of rpm to launch. What gives this altered away is the fact that hes got a transmission (which you can clearly here when he shifts into drive as the rpms drop). Nitro Fuel Altereds (atleast the pro altereds) do not use transmissions. Some of the nostalgic altereds do, but this altered doesnt look nostalgic to me. Im going to rely on my experience with these cars and stick to my statement. Its an alky altered.
