@turboman808 I own a Z7u,a Z1u and a EX-3 and I haven't got the camera of my derams yet. I am so hard on video that i guess only the RED camera would satisfy my "eye" 1080 resolution/ or 1/3 chip is not enough...It really isn't...
As for the Z7u, for being a much newer camera compared to the Z1u, believe it or not, the Z1 is a LOT cleaner that the 7. I can push a 12db gain on the Z1 and it's cleaner that the Z7 at only gain 3db.
@formaset too bad 60p is a useless format. no one uses it, and 90% of TVs out there don't support it, and 99% of media formats aren't capable of displaying that sort of footage.

The above comment, I meant, if you HAVE to use gain. The Z-1U is CLEANER, even at an amazing 12db gain, assuming the operator knows what he's doing.
Another thing. 30p and 24p? Wait until you try 60 PROGRESSIVE! (60-p) That's hi-end.
