Would you be able to show how you load your brush when your doing petals. like the white on the brush with the tip of the petal color. I'm having issues trying to figure out how to do this so it comes out perfect.

Which split cakes are your absolute favorite? I am going to get some arty cakes or rainbow cakes and can't figure out which ones I can't live without.
@Brandidibler Hi! I would say that the split cakes that are an absolute MUST have are red, pink and white (for roses, hearts, crowns...) dark green, light green, and yellow (the yellow is optional, but this cake is great for leaves, snakes, turtles...), red, orange, and yellow (for fire), blue, light blue, and white (for dolphins, sharks, water...). And, of course, a large cake with rainbow colors for large butterflies. You can do pretty much all you need to with those.

i love your videos, designs and painting. best on the web that i've seen! can i ask why you're not a fan of the tropical split cake? is it just the mini, or that color combination in general? i'm a big fan of diamond fx, but i'm a fairly new facepainter, so i just want as much info as possible. i was thinking of ordering the large dfx tropical split cake, but i'm not rich, so i have to be as economical as possible... thanks!!!
@huliajiggs I don't like the tiny size. It's too hard to use and doesn't last long enough to be worth the money. A lot of people like the small split cakes though, so maybe you should order just one and see what you think :)
@lisajoyyoung oh okay. i have some mini split cakes. yeah, they take some getting used to, and i still have not entirely mastered them but i'm much better. if you like the cake otherwise though, i'll go for it. thanks..
