lol, sweet. My friend's kid (he's 21/2) ran and hid in the back seat of the car when it started getting big. I hate to laugh at the little guy because i can remember being scared of fireworks as well.
Wasn't at my house :-D. It's been a tradition the past couple of years to go over to my friend's parent's house. There's a huge BBQ, The whole street + family shows up. Crazy shit like this goes on, good tunes, good times all around. lol. But yes, had I tried anything even close to this (even if they were just mortars which are illegal in Oregon), the police would definitely be knocking on my front door.
Love that curtain of fire look - neighbor of mine burned a hole in fresh asphalt a couple years ago with modded fireworks. Damndest thing out here in Seattle, places nearby that were selling fireworks closed up and left like July 2nd. Haveta shop earlier next year :^/
Yeah, that second one took chunks out of the asphalt. I didn't get a shot of it because my battery was dead on the camera. I barely had enough juice left to get the shot of it going off. That first one cought be by surprise. I knew it was going to be big, But not THAT big lol.
