Excellent set-up you have there. I've noticed a bit of interconnecting going on because I found you through jihadcadien and I've noticed a lot of people I know on his site. Maybe, between us all, we'll come up with the definitive veg garden - all we need is Nature and Climate to co-operate.

Nice work. This is my 1st winter w/my GH, It was pretty productive til Christmas. I need to work on my heating/thermal mass. It doesn't help that today it's 18degress here in wv.

I like your set up. And it's sweet when you say I love you to the snapdragons.

ohhhh thermal mass..one of my favorite subjects..have you seens "the Garbage Warrior"..yet? I'm with you on that..thermal mass is where it's at!!  Loved your greenhouse setup vid..time lapse!!

would you please write the guys sites you mention in your sidebar please? what fun eating greens so fresh. how do you heat the dome?? or does it just warm your pond during the day and carry over with enough heat to keep it above freezing?? i have an empty greenhouse..grrr..thanks for inspiration!! id love to see your meals too. eating flowers is really ...out there. you rock!

Heating is provided by the pond, the shapes of the dome itself, the rocks in the dome...and the solar..under soil tubes. Mostly radiated heat as you mentioned. Check out the growing spaces site..great info!

that just rocks...literally. and the aireation on the water?? is that thing running 24-7? i think the sound would drive me batty.

I hear ya...I'm changing the pump over soon, to a waterfall feature on top of the wooden slats..I love the sound of a waterfall...usually the sound of the SONIC BLOOM CD overpowers everything else..Happy Growing in that greenhouse of yours... -0 waves

..on the meals..maybe I'll make some vids..I make mostly drinks..in the vitamix. Two usually..a green one with veggies...and a blue/black one..in color.. with the superfoods.

ok superfoods like sea weedy stuff..gosh id have to work up to that one.

ohhh superfoods are SO MUCH FUN, just add em in, they taste AMAZING! Ten times the nutrition of garden veggies..Check out David Wolfe's book, "Superfoods", an amazing read!!
