Civ 2 Roman Campaign Gameplay

I would do a play through of CIV2 but apparently it wont run on Windows 7. Only Vista and lower.

@mebbwebb I think you have to download the multiplayer gold version for it to work, sorry i should have made it clear to begin with but its been over a year since i did it. But i do remember i typed "Civ 2 windows 7 patch" into google and there was several links to forums explaining how it was done, sorry i cant be more help

Holy shit best strategy games ever made Civilization I , Civilization II and DEFINITELY Civilization 3! 4 was a bit iffy and 5 just plain sucks. Galactic Civilizations 1 and 2 are also incredibly fun due to random events. And Finally the cream of the crop SID MIER'S ALPHA CENTAURI ! Oh and another childhood favorite MECHWARRIOR 2 !

I had CivII Test of Time and I think it was a little better only because of improved graphics and the alternate game types. All in all fantastic

i always enjoyed this scenario but i found that it was not perfect becasue when yur playing as the independent greeks you have territorys your supposed to control yet your cities are not there such as the west coast of spain like the cities of Agathe ,emporiae ,hemeroscopium.... it did have massalia atleast and tarentum was called taras. my favorite thing was making the map more realistic like this then saving as scenario then re-playing it as the romans

Just from seeing this video, i understand that diplomacy is MUCH deeper in this game than it is in Civ V which i'm playing now and even though i would still pick V over this, i admit that the fact that V's (and maybe also IV's) diplomacy is a watered down version of these older games is a downright shame.

how the heck did you get the land to look like the Italian peninsula? I got this game for PS1 and I still love it. But they always create this ficticious world for me that resembles nothing like what the ancient world looked like.

I had it for PS1 too. I remember when you got into AD the game would take forever to load each turn. Good old PS1.
