This film brings back fond memories. I started my apprentiship with Eastern National in 1965. Not a Routemaster in sight Though! Just Bristols with ECW Bodies. LS's, LD's, KSW's, FLF's etc. Built like tanks! Thanks for the footage. Well Done!

Excellent video but there is a glaring error at 1.00, the commentary refers to " the gleaming routemaster buses" which are in fact Bristol products with Eastern Coachwork bodies, I did in fact drive such vehicles from the Eastern National depot in Cherrydown, Basildon in the early 70's.
