There are two types of weapons for Felyne Fighters. The Hammer and the Katana. You can't change it. You have to hire a Hammer user if you want it to use Hammer and same applies to the Katana user.

uuuuum no not really, its damage and sharpness aren't great but the fact that each hit does 520 dragon attribute makes it one of if not THE best sns in the game, with the azure ogre sword being the only real contestant

i think they both look badass but they are pretty even since the azure ogre sword has more raw damage and better sharpness it makes up for the slightly lower attribute
