Man, I really don't care. Whatever is cheaper. Seriously, a DVD's quality is good enough for me. I wouldn't waste my money. I just hope DVD doesn't get erased like VHS. Ugh.

look on youtube at hi def trailers and see what you are missing! Also you will not be able to buy normal dvds in shops in the next couple of years, it is like asking for VHS inttead of DVD.

In some ways HD has won :) why, because its so very cheap now!! I picked up a Xbox 360 HD drive for 25 British pounds with any 2 films of my choice :) and now most titles are 5 pounds!! so people can get a good taste of the next generation quailty at a cheap price! In the mean time, I will not be buying Blu Ray as its very pricey! so I'll wait. Nice how one format made another a bargin :)

I do own a Blu-ray player :) put for a taste of Hi def! the HD drive for the Xbox costs peanuts now! like 20 pounds! and HD titles are crazy as 3-4 pounds new! as for Blu Ray, I have the Panasonic DMP BD-35 which wasn't cheap!!! but its a real nice machine. no need to worry about dvd! once blu ray films and players become cheap! nobody should get too hung up! well, u have to re-buy ur fav films again! but thats what happened when u changed from VHS to DVD :)
