I'm so sick of killing dragons in this game. It got so bad that every time I fast traveled to an area of the map I hadn't been to in a while there would be a dragon there. I used this to my advantage when I needed to get the Heartscales for Arniel Gane in the College of Winterhold Quests.

Speaking of which, every time I came back to the College of Winterhold there was a dragon.It got hard to walk around their bones after a while so I started blasting them with double Incinerate into the cosmos.

U can take the masks back after taking kohnorik...just dont change ur wooden mask to a different thing or u will be back to ur normal skyrim

newsflash: Cool if you are a completionist but NONE of these masks compare to what you can make with 100 smithing and 100 enchanting which you can acquire in just a few hours in Whiterun by buying iron ingots/ore from warmaiden's (x2 both inside and outside vendors), making iron daggers, and then enchanting them. To make the soul gems acquire/buy a soul trap weapon, disenchant it, and then make your own. Having a dragon suit with -25% cost (x4) to destruction and restoration is UNSTOPPABLE. Win.

@westy125 soul trap weapons are pretty rare, but just buy grand/black soul gems and use soul trap on mammoths/giants at giant camps to get grand souls

I've gotten several of them doing quests, and you can buy them from the weapons vendors such as Warmaiden's in Whiterun as well. Remember, when disenchanting the power of the enchantment is meaningless. Get the cheapest weakest one. The result of your enchantments is based on your enchanting skill not the original power of the item. Get a Soul Trap weapon and dual wield them even if the enchantment only traps for 4 seconds it will work.buy empty petty gems and kill animals.

Another tip is that you can quit to desktop and restart the game and the vendors will have new stock, i.e. more iron ore, and more soul gems, and another shot at buying a soul trap weapon. In the meantime until you can get one try casting the Soul Trap spell in your off hand and killing the animals with your right hand. Focus on Smithing at first and this alone will make you a god. Do the thane quests and get your houses in the holds that have them, Riften is the best house
