I don't know what people are complaining about. He is teaching you how to use FL studio to make a simple beat... Hes not trying to teach music theory to you all and on how to costruct a beat from a theory POV... If this confuses you, then it's likely that you need to go do a bit of research on music theory or something

For those who dream of creating their own tracks (especially for electro) I recommend you to use fl studio. Do not give up after a few tries it seems complicated but it's pretty easy. I have used it for 2 months and I have no experience with programs like fl studio. It's pretty easy to me, then again I have been practicing everyday after school or work for the last 11 years. So It does help to practice. "Long Fuse, Big Bang" you should read that book it might help you out. They built the pyramids brick by brick.....
