  • Muy buena version de un tema original del gran Oscar Brown Jr, que fue poeta, escritor, defensor de los derechos civiles y considerado uno de los grandes interpretes de jazz, pionero en eso de cantar y recitar, que años mas tarde fue conocido como rap.

  • This album and Rewind were his Best Ever! I still own both albums, probably played them over and over again, at least 1,000 times. Guess we will never see another decade like the 60s. The 1970s weren't bad, but it has been a downhill slide since then. Thanks JR for all you gave us. It is truly appreciated.

  • I’ve been a J.R. fan since the early-mid-60’s when the “Johnny Rivers Rocks the Folk” album came out. He went through many stages: folk-singer, “Blue-eyed Soul” singer, record producer, but I somehow missed this whole “Realization” album from 1968. I do remember hearing “Summer Rain” on the radio; the other songs on the album sound fresh. Oh yeah, there was a draft back then. So, after 40+ years, the music sounds so good that it was worth the wait. You should here them all.
