Insane pressure on the suspension components!! :-O They must have been incredibly strong to cope with that. And the short travel of the arms and dampers didn't help. The latest setups ease the impact substantially.

tie rods, hell hose ball joints were praying for death LOL. The announcer said the suspension was "tired", looked on it's death bed.  About a foot of play in the steering. Dampening technology has come a long way. Great vid, thanks for posting it.
