Currently I'm witnessing the distress two young boys age 5 and 8 are feeling as they understand they are the only boys in the neighbourhood who have been cut. The parents can give no logical explanation for this sexual assault. The older of the two boys is very difficult and has been diagnosed with attention deficit disorder.
Please keep up your public discussions. Circumcision will end when enough people do this.
I have the experience of seeing a boy, spared circumcision at birth, was the most amazing baby boy by all accounts from people who saw him, then circumcised later. His change in behavior was atrocious and obvious. But, because this is in an area where cut is the norm, nobody seemed to figure out the reason for the change. They don't want to know that he was severely injured by losing a sensory part of his body.
