if you want the black bars.

just make a new layer.

-change compositing mode to multply (mask)

-add a solid colour (white) in media generator

-then uncheck maintain aspect ratio.

-and drag the top or bottom down or up.

and you get your black bars! :)

Bad question sure it is but can u play the game when it looks like the clip u made

Because I thought that the config made the game looks better ; actually I mean , do you have to have a config especially for recording ? Or you can play with the config seen at the end of the video but u play with another one because it's better ( without any lag, fps ...) ?

The directions that came with it were, "make a profile, for example Movie, and copy config_mp (the cfg. that has the command to exec. the actually movie cfg.) What the hell does this mean? if you mean its faster, then you are right. but its the same like rendering in 720p or 480p. its faster to render in 480p but alot less editable. so in 60fps you can make some beast slowmo with twixtor but 30fps twixtor is ugly.

How I record: Demo game, /r_fullscreen 0 (windowed mode 720p), /vid_restart (to activate command), play demo and record in new 720p resolution. I have to do this or else my video gets lines from fraps not being able to record my res in HD.
