  • Great post and thanks.

Please be kind enough to cite the album or collection this comes from.

I'd like to be able to search for it but need a place to start.

  • @BrickPa. I spent months looking for this track but never found it as a single, I had almost given up when I found it on an album Jo Stafford & Gordon Macrae, (Stars Of The Summer Night) with other lovely duets from these great performers. If you find it as a seperate single or EP more than likely on 78 please let me know. As a child I heard this song in a film my parents took me to see but I can't remember the title so you may be able to help me find it. Thanks for viewing.

  • @Snoopythack1 Thanks again! I've added that information to my search list!

  • I remember these two from about 60 years ago. Their appealhas not changed in all those years! Thank you for the upload.

  • @ThePaulBristol. Thank you for valued comment Paul, I'm pleased you enjoyed listening to these two departed singers. Thanks for viewing.

  • Marvelous, just marvelous. A treasure to behold. I think this is the best version, and the blending of Gordon and Jo was the best duet in Popular Song, in my opinion. Also very good harmony is Buddy Clark with Doris Day. This "Long, Long Ago," was an oldie, but is a treasure. Yes, the old songs said something and spoke to the heart...not the base elements as is prevalent today. 100 years from today, "Long, Long Ago" will be remembered, and Lady Gaga will be expunged from all consciousness.

  • @BigBingFan. You are absolutely correct, I too like Buddy Clark And Doris Day singing together.

They are all classics and will go on forever. and there will be more than just Lady Gaga Expunged.

Thank you for comment and thanks for viewing the vid.
