  • haha that music made me lol when i was there last week:P im saad hehe

  • Hi, well done, nice work.

I've qualified for finals this year for first time. How long does it take for Trailblazers to contact you after 2nd round? It's been 2 weeks now and i'm starting to worry.

    What are the finals like?

  • Hiya well done! They dont contact you for ages, you should be able to check on the trailblazers website as they put a list of names up of whose qualified but they wont send you anything until they actually want you send your entry for the final off :)

  • Finals are brilliant, I didnt do too well lol! But it was fab to get away, stay away at a show and the atmosphere was fantastic. Arenas are gorgeous and you really feel like you've done well just to be there! The dressage had about 4 sections in the prelim, and 3/4 in the novice on day one. The top 10 in each section qualified for a ride off on day two and everyone else got a consolation ride off so you'll get two days of riding. Its quite expensive but worth it I think :) xx

  • thanks for reply, i've qualified for novice and elementary on my welsh cob, so eeeek lots of tests to learn, and need not be put off my fancy warmbloods. we haven't got a lorry so will be camping in the trailer, can't wait to go, never been anywhere so big or had to stop overnight before.

i was expecting them to send you something more or less straight away, lol, i will stop panicking now.

  • Ohh good luck! I q'd for the 2nd rounds but will be going to hickstead to jump with my RC two days before the dressage finals so cant do both! :( We camped last year and it was fine, most people seemed to actually. Brought a little gas hob to make tea with and we were fine! x

  • Thanks. Good luck to you too at Hickstead, that sounds fun.

I think it's going to work out quite costly as it is, so will be camping and taking the stove. Hope weathers good. x

  • aww it was a lovely test ^^ i only went for the showjumping my horse doesnt um understand the concept of dressage =( im very jealous ^^

  • Thanks :) Luckily my horse does both :P We didnt stay for the SJ, too expensive to do both! Taken a lot of work to get her flatwork up to scratch, but it helps her jumping so much :) x
