This aircraft was capable of being saved for almost 2 minutes, till the main tanks ruptured.

Over here in the USA, fire crews at a major airport respond in well under a minute.

this was actually a fire in china not japan. what happened was, the left hand wing inboard slat extended to land and a bolt fell out of the stop at the aft end of the slat track and when the slat retracted after the plane had taxied to the gate it punctured the fuel tank in the left wing. the fuel the ran down the wing through the wing box and to the right wing and caught an exposed wire which started the fire. the rest is self explanitory.
