I also look forward to ETW sailing, but PotBS is less large scale strategy and more individual accomplishments. Sid Meier's Pirates is, as you put it, cool as fook, but can you play that online?

I would have too; way too long at 1x. Unfortunately speeding it up distorts the sound, which means no sound effects (cannon volleys, ships breaking apart, etcetera).

Next time I think I will just put an soundtrack on, and damn the sounds.
