@paraconti: Ridgway swears he saw, and talked to Ainsworth (he was searching for antiques, not fishing) and that scared him away from the river for good. But Ainsworth swears he saw 2 men, and Ridgway was not one of them. The strange part is, both of them quote the same conversation.

@MsSouthernman: The "hand waving" was the rafter Ainsworth describing one of the submerged bodies.

Most of this movie was crap. Better to read books on this subject than use the movie as a reference.

Has the witness' report of the fisherman and the truck (and I believe there were 2 fishermen - a young one and an older one) ever been followed up on? Did Gary Ridgway ever talk abt it?

@paraconti I don't remember if the fisherman was quoted in this movie, but I do remember a remark "like a hand waving." There was a follow up of the truck, but that was dismissed by police at the time. Ridgeway seemed so "normal" and forensic science, as we know it, was just getting off the ground.
