Adult hamsters will almost always attack one another - male/female, male/male or female/female. In the wild, they live alone, mate, and never see them again. The females will eat their own babies and mate if either stays around her burrow too long. Hamsters are actually really aggressive animals and I do not recommend breeding them if you're not experienced with caring for injured animals.
