pug, it's snug than a half turn on oil filters if you do that. A gasket will never hold or work if it is not tightened properly.

I use napa filters all the time, my place of work stocks them and it's wall we use, have never had a single come-back because of a properly installed filter.

Get some concentrated driveway cleaner.

Changed the oil in a 95 Infinity J30 last week and dropped the filter. That SOB was impossible to hold onto and it rolled down the drive leaving a trail of oil.

Splashed some on and all the oil floated strait off...Into the grass.

Driveway looks great though.

i sure some has said this already but.... The way the injectors work is off oil pressure, you have a high pressure oil pump that pumps oil to the fuel injectors and a low oil pressure pump that lubs the motor, since it puked all the oil it had nothing to feed the injectors so it died things i would look into would be

1. coolant filter

2. EGR cooler delete ..Depending of the emissions testing for diesels where you live

3. SCT programmer..from a shop that sells them with there tunes installed

im ganna give you two tips that will solve that in two easy steps. ive done that before. so its not the first time.

lets start with the grass. Vacume the grass it sounds crazy but an vacume would pick all those muschy things right up. tried that and worked.

Then when done with that use an high pressure water compressor to blow onto the concreat with an hard force. Also use degreeser between goes on the concreat. That will make it like new. shiny :)

We've been having problems with WIX filters at work. We've had eight filters blow the o- rings out in the past six months. Those are all on different pieces of equipment. I've used WIX for years but they have gone to shit now. I had a hydraulic filter on the return line blow completely off. The threads from the filter were still on the mount.

Digging the grass up isn't too good of an idea there, with the snow coming and it melting and all that, it will muddy as hell. I would throw down a layer of gravel and tell them that you'd dig it up and replant it when it's spring, other wise it's going to turn into mud

careful with the pressure washer, the fuel injector driver module is right under the coolant degas bottle. Its got a plate on top of it thats only sealed with a thin layer of silicone.
