They couldn't do ANYTHING right with the M:I movies could they? The ORIGINAL version of the theme was done in 5/4 time. That was one of the things that made it unique. This arrangement was changed to 4/4 time -- for no particular reason that I can see.

Not really except for the syncopation, and the syncopation sounds to me like it'd be a 5/4, not a 10/8. A good 10/8 is "Everything in it's right place" by Radiohead.
