I've never had more fun running running for my life than in this game. I'm hoping that when ME2 finally comes out it'll be more open so that you can explore more. The music by Solar Fields and all the "Still Alive" remixes are epic. Great to listen to as I workout in the park in the morning.

In an Interview with EA president, Frank Gibeau, After been asked if Mirrors edge 2 could be on the Wii U, the EA president stated:

"You know we haven't killed mirrors edge, were actively working on how to bring it back in a way. We (EA) love that franchise, the DICE guys really created something special the first time around and you've got to have a big idea to do the next one and THATS WHAT WERE WORKING ON!"

He also stated it may use Frostbite 2

You start off as Faith going back into commission for freerunning. (Freerunners collect bags and other items through out the city... it's complicated.) The all of a sudden something happened to one of the people running for mayor, Robert Pope, he was shot and killed. Which also involves you're sister Kate, she was blamed for the murder. So now you have to get clues throughout the game to prove Kate innocent.

Electronic Arts says it hasn't thrown in the towel on the Mirror's Edge franchise. During an interview with IGN, EA Games President Frank Gibeau said the publisher continues to work with developer DICE on ways to bring Faith back for a second game.

"We're looking at ideas for it, absolutely," he said when asked about a sequel. "We just haven't figured out the right way to bring it back yet.

@hancuffs Just last year Dice relocated the Mirror's Edge team to work on another project. So it is kind of iffy if they will make a second one at the moment. I hope they do! Story line was a bit lacking at first but it really picked up at the end with the betrayal of her fellow runner.
