nice vid, i have one of these still thinking for take it out or not?, does the doctor give you local anestetic? how much does it cost you to remove it, thank you,
Seems like such a small incision would make it difficult to make sure you get it all out especially the edges, which if it turned out to be a sarcoma, you wouldn't want any left in there. I have to have this operation and I'm worried about not having a oncologist there just in case.
@edaudiyo The timer on the slide bar should give you the answer you seek... The surgeon made the incision at 11 seconds and removed the lipoma at 5:50, that makes the surgery 5 minutes and 39 seconds. Clean up, stitching, and bandaging might be another 5 minutes.
That was incredible! Kudos to your Mom and the Doc. And your camera work was pretty darn good too. Above all the Doc's comments just about had me rolling on the floor. And he was just dead serious.
I thought it kinda looked like a boneless, skinless chicken breast.
I have a lipoma in the ventricle of my brain.

This looks like about forty-five seconds of interesting video and five minutes of hands, sleeves and backs. Plus fifteen seconds of cat.
If you had edited this down a bit, you would have had about a half million views by now.

2:06 - the doctor says something VERY professional and totally unoffensive.

That wasn't the surgeon, that was the camera operator who was a family member.

It looks like it would have been easier to have made the incision a little bit bigger. The smaller the incision, the smaller the scar I guess.
