  • The more I listen to this theme the more I like it...although- I always liked season 7's the best...btw-does anyone know how I could see clips and or shows from seasons 6 and 7?

  • What? Everyone but Richard and Laura didn't have a pool? And Kenny and Ginger had the biggest home? Er, ok lol

  • My mum used to watch this... used to like the theme tune but could never get into it. I do think they should have brought Lucy to Knots Landing as well seeing as they didn't really do anything with her on Dallas when she came back.

  • I love knots landing. It is a wonderful show, I was born when its third season was on the air. I wish they would do another miniseries about this show. I would watch it.

  • I never knew that Knots landing was a spin off of Dallas. I just found that bit of information out a few years ago. I remember watching the later episodes in the 90's though.

  • Don Murray is AMAZING ♥

I love him so much ♥

  • I discovered Knots Landing when I was sixteen back in the early eighties and I just wanted to be one of the Ewings trying to live without the support of their rich family (it was a Dallas spin off). I had a crush on Charlene Tilton and even had a picture of her on my geography book in High School. The biggest shock becoming an adult was realising real life isn't like Knots Landing at all but is actually very dull and a bit crap

  • google mapssss

  • This song let me know it was my bedtime, because it was school time the next day. Uuuuggghhhh!!! LOL "Cut that TV off it's time for bed." 1980s...gotta love em'. Actually "Newhart" was the TV show I remember for bedtime...because it came on at 9 pm where I was living and I was like in the 2nd to 4th grade.

  • I have this theme as my default ringtone! Cracks people up.

  • Donna Mills looks so beautiful in this opening

  • AHHH.. I remember this show.....but the season finale, I think everyone in the cove either slept or married eachother.

  • When did this show start? 1979?

  • @tall32guy December 27, 1979

  • We used to call this show "Twats Grinding" just to be cheeky.

  • I always felt sorry for the house next to Gary and Val. No one ever moved in and it didn't make the opening credits. I bet the real neighbors/owners were bummed as well.

  • @jad8123 They may have been hermits or just were smart to stay out of the drama !

  • Loved all those 80's night time soaps...Knots Landing, Dallas, Dynasty...Falcon Crest to a lesser extent. Those were good times!
