@dlwitness Ultimecia IS Rinoa. It's just not arguable. The ENTIRE game foreshadows it. The problem is, people didn't understand exactly what happened to cause it. It's so fucking simple too. Rinoa had the Griever GF (the strongest) with her throughout most of the game, GFs eventually get rid of early childhood memories, (here is the kicker) Rinoa ABSORBED Adel's memory as a young girl and if you look back at it Ultimecia's entire goal was freeing Adel. She's Rinoa believing herself to be Adel.

The only real thing we know of Adel's past besides her being powerhungry and evil was that Laguna tricked her into a trap.
