Your signing is fine but you need to show facial expressions. A Deaf person won't understand how the song is supposed to make them feel without the right facial expressions.
Actually that's incorrect. you have to wait until you hear the words, then sign. You don't start before you hear the words to the song. Otherwise it will become comfusing to some who are hard of hearing or deaf. i am a HOH/DEAF person and it would be difficult trying to keep up with the signs coming before the words. My mom taught me. She was in the interpreting classes when I was a baby. I also have a few deaf and HOH friends so that gives me more of a chance to practice in real deaf culture environments.
