@trumpeterjen No, hun. That's not what I'm saying. I just started out reading the manga, and I didn't think Hiro-san's voice was gonna be that low...You see, I think it's better to read the manga first. It lets your mind explore possibilities and you kinda match voices and hair colors and all sorts of other things to the characters. Then, when you see the anime for the first time and it's not what you expected, it's sort of a nice surprise to see what different views you had of certain people.

I do agree that reading the manga first is generally a good rule, though.
