not to be cynical or anything, but I wonder if, because it's an electronic piano, it might be also sending out soundwaves that are inaudible to humans but painful to dogs... I just hope (s)he's not crying out in pain :-/
Have you ever thought that it is likely for the dog to dislike and even suffer from some frequencies or of specific kinds of -non naturaly produced- sound? A method to retain mise far from a place is the use of very high frequencies...
My neighbour's dog is screaming in a similar -although more loud- way as soon as it hears the bells of a nearby church.
This is wonderful! He really identifes with the sad undercurrent so prominent in Chopin's work!
When I got my 1st Maine Coon cat & hadn't yet named him, I was playing the complete Tales of Hoffmann. He went up to the stereo & sat there enrapt throughout the entire 3-hour (?) opera. So I named him Hoffmann. Now my 2nd Maine Coon cat, Desdemona, loves Scherazade - anything by Rachmaninoff! Wish I had videos like you. They're fantastic!
Clearly that dog took an arrow to the knee.

I don't think the dog's suffering at all.
It would move away or rub its ears in this case, I suppose.

Throw the dog outside and play it with a cat instead. Am sure you would definitely get a more positive response and assistance from a cat.....

@DiamondDEK A cat? Lol
The cat would probably give a shit about Chopin, jump over the keyboard and just lie there as if it was its bed. Because that's what cats do.
What a great positive response and assistance from a cat.
