i got hooked on this band way back in the day they came to monroe and i was blown away, they had just came out with fireproof, somehow i ended up at a pillar concert when i was 6. yeaa
First song I heard was "open your eyes" by them, then "further from myself" then "bring me down". Got me hooked! Pillar from then on, and are now and have been my favourite band for the past 4 years!!
When Jesus Christ saves a person, there's supposed to be a change that brings about a new look, a new attitude, and a new perspective on life:"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new"(2 Cor.5:17).These guys are FRIENDS of the sinful world. James 4:4,"Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the ENEMY of God."
9 people need to pack their bags and leave xD just kidding this is a very good song though and i dont get why anyone would want to take off the "four words" that this nation was formed upon.
i love the message and i totally agree with not removing references of god from our country... the only problem i have is it seems like he acts like "One nation under god" has been in the pledge forever, i'm pretty sure it was added in 1954(something like that)... but i still love the message!
@jaguarfm51 I think that part was more along the lines of that our founding fathers believed in God and founded upon similar ideals from the Bible and other sources and people continue to disrespect our founding fathers despite the sacrifice they made for us.
I'm not sure... I've listened to this song about 11 times in a row now, either I have a problem or this song is just... Amazing, let me know xD thumbs up if it's the song, thumbs down if it's me.
First time heard the song.. hm! I have this strange feeling... some sort of deja vu - the music is gently ripped from POD or I do not get something? :0\
So many things i would like put in the place of this but out of the nature of the rude nature of them i will just put " Not really into bands that about thumping the bible " enough said!!!
ive started to see all of the crap thats going on like the health care bill was passed what a bunch of useless crap and i thought of this song This song is awesome and it basically says how screwed up our nation has become
the drummer left ? i havet known pillar that long so forgive me, but dang that sux... i lstened to frontline and fireprrof and i was hooked ^^ i like tis song 2
yea but Kalel was one of the only original members he was on since Above and Lester joined on WDWGFH but re-recorded fireproof so yea they just kind of got tired they all have little kids but both lester and kalel are in stars go dim along with Pillars touring friend Joey Avalos
This is when Pillar was cool I just saw pics from there new album confessions and they really do look gay, except noah, Ever since WDWGFH? their music has really sucked more and more with each album.... Im not hating just tellin the truth, they used to rap/rock with attitude but now its just like really soft wimpy junk.... a few years ago I saw em in concert and it was VERY dissapointing.... no substance, attitude, or depth, they really just seemed like they were going throught the motions... :(
I absolutely LOVE this song. Rob captured perfectly the values that this nation was founded on. People need to quit getting offended by that. You don't have to read the money. Just spend it and shut up. Your founding fathers were the ones who secured your right to argue anyways and they all believed in God.
I just listened to something on tape called "America: Lessons from Nehemiah" by David Barton..... It was great. I agree with you. I thought you might want to check that out online.
several years ago they closed their show as sonshine music festival with this song. Rob walked out in his black shirt bandana and comaflouge pants waving the american flag. Ive never seen a crowd get so into a song before. It was amazing.
i would have pre ordered it but they are hungry for money. my point being that the skillet pre order with a years subscription to their fan club was 15 dollars for te most basic. the pillar one was like what 25$? the next biggest one was 40 then 70. i think thats a little much.
dude the Pillar pre-order was a great deal!!! 20 bucks for an autographed cd AND t-shirt!!! The expensive package was the one with the hoodie too and the poster. i think that was 70 bucks
thinking back i think ur right about the cost. But i really think they are more about money now than beore. not all about it mind you but deffinetly more since their last album
Pillar changed their sound to more mainstream on "Confessions"...I still haven't recieved my copy in the mail :( but from the songs I've heard, I like it! Where Do We Go From Here will always be my favorite Pillar album!!!

It's amazing when you dont believe in God yet you love the piece of paper with his name on it. Ironic.
