This was an awesome gig, Machine Head kicked arse! as did Metallica, if it was anywhere else in the world the entire floor would of been moving but it as full of oldies and faggots who didnt want to start pits :( there was maybe one pit that was on and off near where i stood, I'm sure we could of given them a better welcome than we all did

Kirk's leads are crap on Death Magnetic. The sooner you face that he's lost his ability to do anything with a guitar, as he admitted in 2008, the sooner he will be replaced by someone who can. You should watch more Metallica interviews and read magazines if you really want to know what it wrong with Metallica and where they are really going - in their own words.

You should watch "The making of Death Magnetic" video to get a better idea what went wrong in the studio when it comes to Kirk's contributions. Metallica could use a new lead guitarist and a heavier sound, not that they will ever do that, unless they figure out that Kirk isn't pulling his weight anymore. Overall Death Magnetic is a good album, but there is so much better real Metal out there and my expectations of Kirk is that he should improve with age, and he has not.

I was in Birmingham to see MH, Slipknot, Down, Lamb of god etc. and every time there people and gigs were insane!! 25 march 09 - Metallica and MH - that will be a show!! I will be there!! the problem was with people, I saw a guy dancing like on a wedding hahaha - and I'm serious! basicly crowd was static as hell, some of people looked like they didn't know what is going on there... everywhere will be better than in Nottm mate - look at Manchester !

were i was, every1 was gettin into it! i think people were put off at the beginning because they sed it was a new song, so people thought it was one that nobody knew, when they realised it was judas kiss, they went insane. It's myn & my mates favorite track from Death Magnetic, & we were moshing away! (even tho we were sitting).

I was at this concert too, the crowd were actually jumping about where i was sitting, especially the ones standing, if you had seen them they were slam dancing so these lot look a shitty crowd but not where i was sitting i can assure you.
