You have way too much free time to be making a vid to critisize Hillsong just because they play contemporary music which people enjoy listening to. Are you saying that a Christian song is only ok if it doesn't sound it any way similar to chart topping music? The purpose of Hillsong music is to minister to people, especially the younger generation and the music will not minister if no one wants to listen to it. Where does it say in the Bible that it is a sin to keep with the times?
Music is neutral, it can be used for good or for evil. God created music in all forms. We should glorify God with everything we do. Maybe instead of trying to divide the church and bashing your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, you should focus more in bashing the enemy. Hillsong ain't the enemy. God loves you me and hillsong. So you should love them too. If you feel they are doing wrong, then do not bash on them but instead rebuke them with love instead of your hateful words.

Are you that blind to see If there was a God he would not be supporting these leaders and the organisation to brainwash youth into making money for them. If you really wanna please jesus, be loving, non-judgemental and donate by your efforts and time, and put money to projects that you can work on, not them, these people are theives for your time and take the credit !! The problem is they don't understand the bible and the bible says that wide is the road to destruction and narrow is the road to God (HEAVEN) so what the modern church has done is not go out in to the world and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ ! they have allowed the world to come into the church ! one example that i know is they allow some confessing homosexuals to have a roll in the church. one guy a church kick him out because of his homosexuality and hillsongs gave him a position .
@BornSinners Hey....Hillsong may have put that guy in the position but that guy has an area of sin in his life which is hard for him....so if he hasn't been cured of that YET you can't have a go at Hillsong for giving him a position in the church...maybe God's will for him is to lead a single life.

Go to the London one and my friend you will see that the sermon's coming from Gary Clarke are so flawed it is unbelievable. What kind of preacher is he when he tells his members to stay in the black for this financial year by not making silly purchases but then tells his members to buy some new fancy bible (that is in the form of a magazine with pics of starving children, guns and knives :S and only contains the new testament, which is not even accurate) and dont get me started on their videos

This video links the first 2 songs as they are very similar,as with most of united's songs they sound like songs you've heard before.. The third was a song that emphasized the word follow..which is what I believe Hillsong does with its message.
I don't think it's right to generalize them. If someone does take a verse out of context, that's reason enough to pray for the congregation and the pastor, not judge them. Have you even sat in on numerous sermons at the church? One or a few sermons is not a representation of every sunday. No one is perfect.

To create a culture of ministry that is relevant in a post-modern age requires strategy, resources and people. Your arguments hold no weight, so just stop. Hillsong has been working hard for the last 20+ years to get to where they are. I know because I am also from a growing, 5,000+, multi-million dollar megachurch; and every day is a challenge.

They got to my brother. He changed and the change in my opinion was not good. Stubborn, defensive when talking about Hillsong (not an argument just talking) he thinks his way is always the way. He also follows other hillsongers around like sheep and when they tell him to do something, he jumps. He also likes to go to nearly all the services every sunday. When I went I could not handle one service. I almost had a damn heart attack. The bright lights, the hyped up bands, the lack of substance....
There was one thing that made me laugh. I started uploading hillsong videos with messages attached to them like you do. Someone one tipped them off about what I was doing and later i get my videos removed with a message from youtube saying 'Hillsong Publishing Group has notified blah blah blah' but correct me if im wrong but what kind of church has a publishing group. You just have to listen to the verses they quote and most are way out of context and are distorting the bible..
The message of Jesus can not be simplified to a dance party followed by a distortion of the bible...or people like me will start criticizing them
