Thanks for having this on youtube. I love this movie and every time I am getting ready to go on stage I listen to this clip. I just hope somewhere Mark knows how inspiration this little speech is
I personally don't think lazyness has a lot to do with what mark is trying to get across. I think a lot has to do with life circumstances. He had an opening to complete his movie and he failed to get it done, maybe he was lazy or there could have been other situations that pervented him from his goal.
If you haven't seen this doc movie , you NEED TOO. One of my all time favorites . Hollywood doesn't even come close. Brilliant. I have the DVD and hope it never wears out.

This movie is inspirational in many ways. This opening scene I mean Mark may have not intended but these words hes speaking are incredibly emotional.

I think there's a lot of creative, yet lazy, people who can relate to this opening monologue.

when people say Mark is some burn out i always remind them to really listen to what he's saying in the beginning of this film.
mark is an artist. he has a creative vision he is compelled to express.
