  • wth!!

  • ANTHEM!

  • what language are they singing in?

  • @irvinperez94 hindi

  • u idiots who are fighting.... here are the facts:

there is one language called Hindustani... it has two standardized registers called "Hindi" and "Urdu" ..... Hindi is written in devanagari script; Urdu is written in Perso-Arabic script.... Hindi has Sanskrit words and Urdu has more Persian/Arabic words.......... technical terms also vary but everyday language is the same

i can't believe ppl fight over languages, so stupid lol

n e way it's an awesome song yaar... childhood memories

  • @soha100 I'm Indian :) And yes hindi has a lot of Urdu words. Don't bother about people like realityindian

  • @blazingstar22 :) ThanQ for seeing my perspective, I would like to add, language is to be enjoyed and is not above humanity. Even the film in question from which this song is taken has the title in English, Hindi and Urdu in the opening credits.

:) I'm not bothered by such unfortunate cases such as realityindian and I understand he/she/it isn't a true representation of an Indian's reality.

  • hey!! isnt that big girl urmila matondkar ????? weird!!

  • This song made tears flow down my eyes in memory of those relations that we must leave behind as this journey of life continues and those who aren't with us any more and yet how ignorant we all are of these realities as children.

  • Jjkklopppppppplokkiupuufo6

  • This is really sad that the Partition brought a partition of language too. Urdu was as much part of India as Hindi, even up until the early 80's Bollywood movies would Show film names in Urdu as as well as Hindi. Language has nothing to do with Faith, it's this mentality that needs to change. FANTASTIC SONG....

  • LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LOVE IT

  • Masoom!!! Lotsa memories!!!

  • It's nor Hindi nor Urdu, but combination of both ..I would say it's Hindustani ..let's not spoil this song by debating Hindu-Muslim ..we should be ashamed, is everything Hindu-Muslim for us?? Let's be humans for God Sake!!!!!!

  • THIS IS THE SONG LOVED BY EVRYONE.WE ALL HAVE SWEET MEMORIES OF OUR CHILDHOOD DAYS WHEN OUR PARENTS USED TO SING THIS SONG TO MAKE US FEEL GOOD

    haha

  • Its in Hindi.

  • this is not hindi this is urdu, hindi is sanskrit.

  • Ok! if that makes you happy :)

If it makes you happy you can even call it Gernan.

  • This is Hindi not urdu, urdu is persian.

  • @realityindian This is really sad that the Partition brought a partition of language too. Urdu was as much part of India as Hindi, even up until the early 80's Bollywood movies would Show film names in Urdu as as well as Hindi. Language has nothing to do with Faith, it's this mentality that needs to change. FANTASTIC SONG....

  • @soha100 STFU you potential suicide bomber, isnt it enough your brethren muslims killed dozens of people in London in the 7/7 bombings in 2005?

  • @realityindian I pitty u... Were u brought up or dragged up?

  • @soha100 LMFAO..... what a comeback haha

  • @realityindian As if Muslims are the only people who commit terrorism. all the focus of terrorsim in on Muslims, and Pakistanis. Ever stop to consider, that the rest of the world is just the same.?

besides....listen to the song idiots. This is no place to argue.

  • best song ewer!! i lowe it! vaao!

  • a person with healthy mind wld retain their innocence while using their mind effectively.

but i get emotional and mind doesnt work

  • i love smallest baby best re

when we r born we have pure conciousness

and connect with our hearts to everyone for some years.

then mind starts dominating with fears, notions and other impurities

corrupting our heart, we hide our innocence and true nature

by being defensive all the time.

we dont lose our true nature but disguise it too well!

  • I remember this song when I was a kid and loved it,,, what movie is it from? I would like to show my son.

  • It is from Masoom by Shekhar Kapur. The theme of the movie itself is for a more mature audiences but this is a lovely song by R D Burman.

  • it used to be my favourite song wn i was a kid and today it is my daughters.
