my old hamster unfortunately fell when some kids were playing with her - I should have never let them hold him. anyway he ended up being paralyzed like that and could hardly drag himself to the food/water. I gave him food and water myself but it seemed like he was in pain. eventually he passed away :( glad to see you can help these little animals heal!

I need help! We had a squirrle litteraly come up to use and climber up my husbands pants leg and sit on his shoulder. Today we let the squirrle out of his pet cage, he some how fell from the couch to the floor now drangging both legs I believe! I have good home very calm and quite. Will he heel in time or do u think he is paralized?

aww! i once kept a baby squirrel with a concussion. he ran in circles for half a month. he did get better tho, and i got to let him go healthy and happy :D

Poor little guy. I remember when I was in HS one of my friends and her family used to do stupid stuff to squirrels such as sticking sticks up the squirrels butt just for laughter. How cruel! When I heard about it I was so angry >.<

@ahioud Human babies are weak. So are the elderly. That's why we, as human beings, have been given hearts and minds with the abilities to love and care for those weaker than ourselves. We ALL need help at some point. Maybe you don't mean to, but you kind of come off as being heartless.

@Sheree828 I am not being heartless; I am being honest. If this were an animal threatened by extinction, that would be debatable. But squirrels are very abundant and adaptable as a specie. When this squirrel is released back into the wild he'll just be beaten to death by other squirrels, or flat out eaten by ravens and owls.

A German Sherpherd put its paw on her paw while she was trying to flee the yard. He didn't bite her. She and her sibling were orphaned and running around this guy's back yard for two days.

She is paralyzed low and a young squirrel. She will probably be able to walk and climb eventually. I'll just have to keep her a little longer than normal.
