If you listen closely to the entire album there sorta a story of this dude with a colourful life who starts to get on his feet in the race but then falls in love and it all goes wrong.

There are several word that crop up through it linking the same sorta though patterns of the narator in the lyrics including race, lights(this and the hill), and later on slip and slide

But yeh love the album and cant wait for the new one i heard the new track on collin murry
